DESCRIPTION:Czech Theater is an amateur multicultural community theater performing Czech plays in English so that people can enjoy this important part of Czech culture. Founded in 2018\, the&nbsp\;productions are consistently among Brno’s “can’t miss” English-language events.The 2025&nbsp\;spring play (following the theme of "mismatched relationships")&nbsp\;is a 1920s romantic comedy written by František Langer\, translated by Petr Pecha\, and adapted by Czech Theater. A clever poor young woman meets a lost wealthy young man. Will their love end in tears and tragedy... or in a successful milk bar in Prague?&nbsp\;Join us on a journey back in time&nbsp\;to 1925. After one of the worst pandemics in human history and a devastating world war\, and just before fascism took hold\, there was a pause between the wars\, when many things were dark but a trip to the theater was a chance to escape reality and imagine a life that was as light and sweet as a bowl of whipped&nbsp\;cream. For our audience:&nbsp\;1920s theater-wear is eagerly welcomed (but not required).&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
